About <Cloud & Network Services>

Cloud and Network Services, include the existing Nokia Software business (excluding Mobile Networks network management), Nokia’s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its current Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.

About <CNS Enterprise Sales>

The ambition of Enterprise Sales within CNS is to grow faster than the market and develop premium margin revenue streams with a focus on disruption trends such as private wireless, Industrial automation, IoT, to unfold opportunities in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) industries. It would also drive Nokia’s business in the Industrial and Government space with direct and indirect partner sales, including accountability for pre-sales, marketing, market services and building segment expertise. The team will also drive Nokia’s partnership, particularly the service provider as a partner channel, to jointly deliver digital platforms of the future enabled by 5G and beyond.

Mission/Purpose of role

Scale Nokia’s partner sales through the Hitachi global partner account to generate incremental, low-touch revenue streams to accelerate the growth of the Nokia Enterprise business. Focus on generating a strategic channel to market selling to and through Hitachi and affiliates as a strategic partner sales account for Nokia.

Main Responsibility Areas

  • Own/lead strategic account plans
  • Own Global account pipeline (sell-thru/to) working with market partner sales to drive scale
  • Manage/Advance C-level Relationships
  • Orchestrate jGTM plays between PU’s
  • Embed Nokia in partner GTM offerings
  • Negotiate reseller / GTM agreements
  • Promote Nokia-first to stakeholders
  • Execute sales-wins with the markets
  • Operationalize GTM to drive scale
  • Drive partner development lifecycle
  • Manage Exec governance / QBR’s
  • Communicate progress to markets

Market Leaders, CT’s, Digital Industries, Enterprise Solutions PU, Network Infrastructure BG, Enterprise Marketing, Enterprise Business Center, Partner Operations

Position Requirements (Experience/Skills/Knowledge)

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong relationships, knowledge-of and experience working for or with Hitachi in Japan
  • Native Japanese level (or equivalent) and fluent in the English language for business communications
  • Experience and proven track record in channel sales or strategic alliance/partner management from a GTM sales creation perspective
  • Experience working for or with Industrial Solutions providers or Global Systems Integrators in a sales-oriented function with consistent track record of quota achievement
  • Capacity to work closely with cross-functional global teams and represent the full suite of Nokia portfolio
  • Familiar with verticals and general enterprise market (competition, solutions, telecom / IT needs) is a must
  • Excellent communicator, relationship builder, collaborator and negotiator
  • Capacity to drive discussions at the C-Level; and develop relationship maps from Executives to working level
  • Ability to assemble and lead virtual teams.
  • Good understanding of the Nokia business, customers and portfolio, processes and tools.  Understanding of the private cellular networking market and roles throughout the customer ecosystem.
