Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Corporate Learning department in SIA Human Resources Division to improve the overall employee learning experience and to drive adoption of e-learning and learning technologies, overseeing the digital skilling suite.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Learning Design & Development, Content Curation 

  • Partner with IT, Business Units, and Vendors to convert e-learning courseware to be mobile-compatible 
  • Partner Business Units (including Safety, Legal, Risk Management, Cybersecurity) and Vendors to design and develop e-learning for compliance 
  • Curate relevant learning material from external sources that meet SIA’s learning needs, publish in SKIES (internal learning portal), and communicate to drive take-up 
  • Primary subject matter expert in e-learning design & development methodology and tools, to guide Instructors and / or Business Units in using e-learning development tools (eg: Articulate Storyline) 

Partner Internal stakeholders and vendors on Learning Systems availability and functionality  

  • Partner internal and external stakeholders to test, implement, and communicate enhancements to learning systems
  • Manage design and user experience of learning systems, including updating the homepage of SKIES 
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues upon escalation in a timely manner 
  • Guide Learning Shared Services (LSS) team

Drive online and self-directed learning culture 

  • Plan and run broad-based and / or targeted learning campaigns, leveraging online learning resources, for global workforce or specific segments 
  • Propose sustainable incentive programme to drive continuous learning 
  • Develop and implement ‘voice of learner’ concept, including application and measurement of metrics

Manage Organisation’s Digital Skilling Efforts  

  • Partner ITD on development and publishing of Foundational Digital Skilling roadmaps for all Ground Staff 
  • Partner ITD on development and publishing of Intermediate & Advanced Digital Skilling roadmaps, for Role-Based Skilling of identified personnel
  • Provide guidance deployment and administration of Digital courses, including registration, assessments / certification, tracking of completion, and sourcing of suitable grants where applicable. 

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Comfortable in working with stakeholders and vendors
  • Experience with learning systems or defining business processes is preferred
  • ACTA or ACLP certification is ideal
  • Possess service mindset – customer-oriented (internal customers), proactive
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Business writing skills
  • Able to work well in teams
